Regarding Design Problem.

A number of students have inquired me about the solution of Assignment No.3. As you would know such design problems are not unique and a number of possible solutions exist. However I would recommend that student may look at the Design Problem 7.4 in Neamen (4th edition) and section 5.5 and example 5.13 from Sedra Smith (5th edition) to have an idea of design problems.

The final exam does not include the portion discussed by Babar Mansoor. However there will be a few short questions regarding MOSFETS i.e. the circuit diagrams of MOSFET amplifiers and conditions and formulas of cutoff, triode and saturation region etc.

You are advised to solve all practice questions before coming to exams. If you still get time you may try the examples of the Electronic Circuits by Donald A Neamen but solve practice questions first of all.

The topics included are Frequency Response, Op Amps, Filters, Output Stages and Differential Amplifiers. There is also a design problem so you better have a look at the way you solved Assignment No.3 as well.
